Sources of B Problems
Issues Opening B Files
Grand Theft Auto III Not Present
You attempt to load your B file and get an error such as "%%os%% Can't Open The B File Extension". Generally, this is experienced in %%os%% because Grand Theft Auto III isn't installed on your PC. Your operating system cannot associate your B with Grand Theft Auto III, so double-clicking the file won't work.
Tip: Another B-related program can be selected to open the file by clicking "Show Apps" and finding the application.
Grand Theft Auto III Requires Update
In other instances, your Grand Theft Auto 3 Saved Game File file version may not be supported by your version of Grand Theft Auto III. If you do not have the proper version Grand Theft Auto III (or any of the other programs listed above), you may need to try downloading a different version of it, or one of the other software applications listed above. This problem is most common when you have an older version of the software application, and your file was created by a newer version that it cannot recognize.
Tip: Investigate your B file by right-clicking and selecting "Properties" to find clues on what version you need.
Conclusion: The majority of B file opening issues are due to not having the correct Grand Theft Auto III version installed.
